The Board of Equalization provides assistance with Sales & Use Tax Relief, Property Tax Relief, and other special taxes (i.e., Alcohol Tax, Tabacco Tax, etc,.) For assistance with disaster relief programs offered by the Board of Equalization, contact: (800) 400-7115.
Businesses can put a stop on the accrual of owed taxes by completing a Request for Abatement of Interest (FTB 3701). To receive more information about disaster relief programs offered by the California Franchise Tax Board, contact: (800) 852-5711.
Federal Resources
Businesses located in counties covered by a Presidential Emergency Declaration may be eligible for a federal tax filing extension. For assistance with the IRS Tax Filing Extension, contact: (800) 562-5227.

Agriculture-Related Disaster Relief

The California Department of Cannabis Control offers regulatory relief for cannabis-based businesses as a form of disaster relief. In order to be eligible, there must be a State of Emergency proclaimed by the Governor or a
